I am a disabled individual, being evicted by my landlord,I receive a section 8 help and now being evicted because I reported my landlord for improper venting of the dryers, they are vented thru my apartment, and I have severe asthma. He is evicting me he SAYS,that the 2 contractors, he contacted have to tear up my entire floor of my apartment, to revent the dryers! Even I know this is not HOW to vent dryers, you vent thru a outside wall! Any legal help available or a government grant available for a mobile home or I will be homeless very soon. My parents have a small peice of acreage I would be able to place a moble home on and that will only be if the zoning board allows it and that could take up to 2 months to get a varience any way this is all a thought considering I dont have the money to buy a mobile home.Anyone have any thoughts or ideas for me?(my income is 579.00 per month! Dawn Gayle.Thank You!

Hello my name is jay im am 20 years old and I am currently living with my girlfriend and her family. MY mom on the other hand lives in brooklyn and she is going through trials and tribulations. She owes 13,000 in rent due to her loss of section 8 this year. She is also not working and has my teo younger siblings to mind after. My mom is in the process of getting custody of my nephew who is in foster care. She cannot pay any of this back due to her unemployment and the shelter is seeming to be the only option. Here is the ludacris part though, this will make her third time in the shelter since 1998. I went through that experience one time with her and could 'nt bear to do it again. So please help her out..... Today is the 22nd of december and her my little brother and sister have to be out of the apartment by the 31st unless the back rent and further rent can be paid. I pray you will find the kindness in your heart to understand and be a blessing .

It was a HUB home, and need many repairs. I was working and making and good salary, taking cre of my grandson and things were good. In 2000 I had a back operation for rupted disc. In 2002 the problem recurred.Another operation was conducted. My job was as a correction lieutenant came to an end. I was not able to preform my duties, so I was placed on long tern disableity. In April of 2004 I entered tha hospital with double pnuemonia. When I was released I was diasongied with Diabetes 2.
With this disease and two bad back surgeries, numbness in the left side, weakness in the right side and leg. Diabetes make you urinate almost every fifteen to twenty minmute. I do not have a bathroom downstairs and I can't climb the stairs every 15 to 20 minutes so I must live upstairs. If I go downstairs most of the time I urinate on myself befor I cn make it back up stairs. I can't afford to pput in a bathroom down stairs and I can't continue to live upstairs, I can't sell the house because if that reason so I just suctk. I have tried everything with no success. This house has a malfunction. I should have notice I was just so happy to get, I did not thank about getting old, not being able to work or to the upper floor. I am in trouble.

I am a 39 yr old woman with two daughters ages 13 and 3. My job laid me off on Dec. 30, 2005. I have been in a relationship for 6 years and for the past year it has become extremely abusive. As a result of this relationship, my car is in very poor condition. My credit it also very poor because of a situation involving my partner. My dad has also stopped talking to me because of this relationship and will not allow the apartment that I am living in to remain in his name because my partner used his car and crashed it. I managed to kick him out and I am moving out in 1 month. I am desperately searching for a new apartment just about anywhere that will be a better environment for my girls. It is really beginning to affect both of my daughters now. I was on the Public Housing List for 2 years in Maryland and then my name was removed because of the "lottery process". I am collecting unemployment in the amount of $340 per week. I would like to relocate to another state and get a new start. I have been looking for low income apartments just about everywhere. I AM WILLING TO RELOCATE in order to get into a housing program. Please help.

I am disabled and my husband is disabled. We have 2 children a boy 15 and a girl 11. Both have ADD. Being on disability doesn't pay much and we are in need of a new home. We currently live in a very old 2 bedroom mobile home. WE were excepted for a loan through USDA Rural Development and the payments are 600+ a month. WE are looking for any funding that would help lower our loan so we can make the house payments. We really need this home because this mobile home is not handicapp accesable. When the kids turn 18 we will be living on 1,300.00 a month. There will be very little money left over for car repairs, Bills, food, medication copays, gas , and any house repairs we may have to do. If you can help me , please contact me at Valerie Haynes, W8219 Center Ave. Medford, Wi. 54451,..or clntome2@yahoo.com or 1-715-785-7941

I need help in find some sort of funding,$3000-4000,to replace the roof on our home. It is bad enough that when it rains it actually rains into our house in several places. I understand that everyone here has problems, but it is hard to look my children in the face when i tell them that we will make it. No children should ever have to grow up this way. You never really know when you are going to hit the bottom, until you bounce. My wife and I have already declared bankruptcy and are trying to keep the house, but we're behind on our bankruptcy payments to the court and I fear we are already too late. It's just before the holidays and we're facing the worst nightmare for any child... losing his home. I am a teacher and make very little money. My wife is trying to get a painting business off the ground, but it is a huge struggle for her. She works long, hard hours for very little reward. If we could just get the payments current maybe we could make a fresh start. I dread the day we have to tell our son we're losing his home. He still believes in Santa Claus. I still believe in God and Christmas miracles. Even if you can't help - please send a little prayer - we need them now more than ever.

Very desperate mother,
Since you have a good job and everything is paid for, have you thought about going to your bank for a loan.
I don't know what kind of job you have and the retirement plan they have; but, some jobs allow you to borrow against your 401(K) or whatever retirement plan they offer.
I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors.

Hi. I am a mother of eight. I was wondering how can I get help accomodating some kind of grant; if possible to purchase a home asap. Help please.God has blessed us we are staying in a house where a lady my husband knows has let us stay. He was working but has since lost his job and so we are unable to pay rent. We really need help. It's scary staying somewhere not knowing if your going to get kicked out or when! And it's sad to think of going to a shelter (been there done that),or knowing you can't go to family and ask them to house that big of a family.
Please help. God Bless

Hi I am a first time mom of a beautiful boy he is 9 months. I need some assistance from the gov. I pay 680.00 per mo. for Child Care and only $590.00 for rent a month. My boyfriend works but never knows how much he is actually bringing home so I pretty much pay for everything myself. I can't afford it anymore. I had went down to the job center to see if I could get child care assistance and they told me I made too much money. I wonder if my boyfriend didn't live with me would I get any assistance?? I would like to move out of my apartment and into a nicer place to live but I can't afford to go anywhere nicer. Need advise. I
Thanks!

A family in rural Mecklenburg County had their two children taken away by social services mainly due to a lack of running water in their home. Their small mobile home is also outdated and badly in need of repair. They were able to obtain a small grant that was not enough to dig their well. I was the woman's case manager for many years as she is mildly mentally retarded and her husband is blind. I am unable to find the help for this family that they need. If you can help please contact me at SMWLundy@Hotmail.com

Hello, I am a 35 year old looking for a grant to help me purchase my mom's property to start up my own daycare. My husband (which is out of work right now due to medical) and I are low income and have very bad credit. We were doing okay about 3 years ago untill I was unable to work with my back and after surgery I was okay for about a year. I did have a daycare going in our home until I couldn't do it anymore and when my husband lost his job we lost everything. Our home and our car. We are staying in my mom's home right now and she wants to sell her property and I would like to get a grant to buy it so I can get my daycare going again. I have friends that want to help with my medical and all. Her property is part commercial and the other residential and that would be good for the Daycare. I have no kids of my own and would like to become a foster parent someday but, need a place to take the kids. Is there anyone that can help me find a grant for my purpose or is there anything out there like that? I am open to ALL and ANY suggestions. Hope to here from everyone soon. Thanks Donna

Okay, here's my sad story. I will try to make a long story short. A few months back, upon hearing that my father was extremely ill, my husband and I made the move from VA to SC. Because of this unanticipated move, we made the tough decision of allowing our children to stay behind, with their grandmother to finish out the school year. We knew that moving 5 hours away from everything they ever knew would be hard enough, and wanted to minimize any emotional trauma. The school year is up in less than three weeks. A few weeks after moving to SC, my husband was attacked in a hotel parking lot. The assailant struck him over the head with a baseball bat causing head injury, along with many others. This rendered him unable to work for several months. He is back now, with limited hours due to excruciating head aches and episodes of extreme dizziness. My husband was our only financial provider, as I have not been able to work for several years now due to nerve damage, and RSD. This whole thing has caused so much physical, emotional, and financial damage to our family it's reprehensible. We have been going without even food, in an effort to play catch up, hopeful that we could do it before the end of the school year. However, the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel was always our babies joining us here on June 7. This morning there is a knock at the door. You've probably heard it before. One of those, "you know it's a police officer, because noone else would knock like that" type of knocks. One of the ones that have you scanning your brain, thinking, "Oh my, what could I possibly have done?" type of knocks. You guessed it. We must to pay up or vacate the premises. Mind you, I am not THAT far behind, given the circumstances. Less than a month and a half, to be exact. Less than one thousand dollars, and we're losing our home. Because of our impending homelessness, I will now have to tell my children, who have spoke of nothing but joining their parents here for the last few months, that this is probably not going to happen. I have contacted every agency in our area that offers this type of assistance. 75% of the ones that I contacted have no funds available at this time, and the other 25% state that they may pay the LAST fifty dollars. So, I ask them, "if every agency wants to pay the last, how will I ever get the FIRST $820 paid?" No remarkable response. PLEASE, (and trust me, this message is the hardest thing I have ever had to write, but if it means keeping our family home, and being reunited with my children, I am not above panhandling on a streetside with a jar and a sign) help us! If there is anything on this earth that can be done, and you know about it, please email me ASAP. We don't have ANY time. RANNAITALIA@YAHOO.COM
